Bold City Dumpsters runs out of a yard at 678 Edgewood Ave N, on the west side of Jacksonville. The idea is simple: dumpster rental somebody can genuinely rely on — no hidden fees, no missed deliveries, no chasing a call center for an answer. So we keep it plain. One number that covers the job. A delivery we keep. A local person on the phone.
Jacksonville is a big place to know — 949,611 people at the 2020 Census and an estimated 1,017,689 in 2025, in a city that is consolidated with Duval County and runs from the Westside and North Jacksonville to Arlington, Mandarin and the Southside. Homeowners call about cleanouts, remodels and storm-damaged roofs; property managers turn over units; contractors build across the city. Knowing which of those a call is before the truck leaves the yard is most of the job — along with knowing that the City's curbside service takes only a cubic yard or two of do-it-yourself building debris and no contractor debris at all, that a container in a City street needs a Right-of-Way permit from Public Works, and that Florida will not let lead-acid batteries, used oil, white goods or whole tires into a landfill.
Whatever you are clearing — a garage or a whole house, a job site, a yard full of storm limbs or a rental you want emptied by a crew — the container exists for it. Call (904) 595-8110 and describe it in a sentence.

How it works
Most bookings take a few minutes.
One short conversation. We ask the location, what you are clearing, roughly how much there is, and how much room the driveway or lot gives us. No long forms, no guesswork.
You get one number covering delivery, pickup, disposal, the standard 7-day rental and a stated weight allowance. If a smaller box does the job we will say so. If it is concrete, shingles or dirt, we say up front that weight decides the size.
The driver sets the container on the driveway, lot or job site where you asked, with protective boards under it if you want them. Often same-day or next-day, depending on availability. You do not need to be home.
Keep it level with the top rim and keep the banned items out — tires, car and rechargeable batteries, used oil, paint, chemicals, propane tanks, asbestos, and appliances such as fridges, A/C units and water heaters. Need more time or a swap mid-job? One call and we are on it.
The load goes to a permitted facility for where the job is — in Jacksonville, the sites the City designates, such as its Trail Ridge Landfill — with metal, concrete, cardboard, wood and clean yard waste recycled whenever possible. You get your driveway back the way you left it.
On the job
We walk you through placement before the truck backs in, and check in again at pickup.

Local knowledge
There is a difference between covering an area and knowing it. We know which drives the truck fits down, that Edgewood Avenue in front of our own yard is a state road where FDOT has the say, that a container in a City street needs a Public Works Right-of-Way permit — $127 for a residential job, doubled if the work starts first — and that Atlantic Beach never lets a roll-off stay on a paved road overnight and wants it emptied or gone when a hurricane warning covers Duval County.
Our service area page lists every town we cover, grouped by area, and each has its own page covering access, housing and what that county or town's own code says about containers in the street and who may haul.

Why us
The phone is answered by someone who knows the difference between a tight drive in Riverside and a big lot out past Baldwin, and how far it is to Fernandina Beach.
Delivery, the rental, pickup, disposal and a stated weight allowance in a single number. No hidden fees, no hidden fuel surcharges. If your load looks like it will go over, we say so before the truck leaves the yard.
Call early in the day and many Jacksonville orders have a good chance of going out the same day, depending on availability. Fernandina Beach and Amelia Island, about 38 to 39 road miles out, are more likely next day — said honestly, in advance.
Protective boards under the container when you ask, and the driver tells you before delivery if a tight drive, low wires or soft ground needs a different approach.
Weight fills a container long before volume does. If a 10 yard is the honest answer for your broken-up concrete, that is what we will quote you.
Storms drop limbs, fences and shingles across whole neighborhoods. We queue honestly after a storm and tell you where you are in the line.

Jacksonville and the Beaches, Baldwin, Clay and St. Johns counties, Nassau County and Amelia Island. We tell you honestly which runs are likely same-day and which are next-day before you book.
Florida keeps lead-acid batteries, used oil, white goods and whole tires out of its landfills, rechargeable batteries out of mixed trash, and anything but C&D debris out of a C&D facility. We keep those out of the box, recycle what the facilities take, and say so.

We run roll-off containers out of the Edgewood Avenue yard to every place below. Jacksonville and the closest towns are often same-day; the edges of the area are more likely next-day. Clay, St. Johns and Nassau counties each license or franchise haulers in their unincorporated areas, and some cities keep collection to their own franchisee — each page says so plainly. If your town is not listed, call anyway.
Answers
In many cases rentals range from approximately $350 to $750 depending on the project, with no hidden fees. The price depends on the size, the type and weight of the debris, how long you keep it and the delivery location. You get one flat rate on the phone that typically includes delivery, pickup, disposal, the standard 7-day rental and the included weight — about 1 to 2 tons on a 10 yard, up to 5 to 6 on a 40. Going over the weight costs extra, and extra days are an additional daily or weekly fee. Call (904) 595-8110 for a firm number for your address.
In many areas the same day or next day, depending on availability — call early in the day for the best chance of same-day. The furthest places we cover, like Fernandina Beach and Amelia Island, are more likely next day. We tell you which when you call.
On your own driveway or private property we found no City of Jacksonville permit rule for a roll-off. A City street, sidewalk or right-of-way is different: Ordinance Code Sec. 744.110 makes it unlawful to block or place material there without a Right-of-Way permit from Public Works. The fee is $127 for a residential job or $191 commercial, doubled if the work starts before the permit is issued; applications go through JaxEPICS, an approved Maintenance of Traffic plan is needed if it affects traffic or pedestrians, and working without a permit can mean a fine of up to $250 a day. On a state road the right-of-way is FDOT's, and FDOT's rules give no permit path for a roll-off. Check your HOA too. We flag it when you book.
Florida keeps lead-acid batteries, used oil and white goods — fridges, freezers, ranges, water heaters, A/C units — out of its landfills (F.S. 403.708(12)), whole tires out of landfills and C&D facilities (F.S. 403.717(3)(c)), and rechargeable batteries out of mixed trash (F.S. 403.7192(3)). We also keep out paint and solvents, hazardous chemicals, propane tanks and gas cylinders, flammable liquids, medical waste and asbestos. Duval residents can take paint, chemicals, fuel, batteries and propane tanks free to the City's Household Hazardous Waste Facility, 2675 Commonwealth Ave.
A loaded roll-off is heavy. Ask for protective boards under the container and they go down. Tell us before delivery if a surface worries you — fresh concrete, pavers, a cracked slab, grass or soft ground.
Volume and weight are two separate limits, and the material decides which runs out first. Small cleanups and heavy debris — concrete, dirt, shingles — are a 10 or 15; medium remodels, landscaping and residential cleanouts a 20; construction, commercial jobs, demolition and large cleanouts a 30 or 40. The size guide covers it; the phone call confirms it.
Yes — Jacksonville Beach, Atlantic Beach, Neptune Beach and Baldwin in Duval County; Orange Park, Fleming Island, Middleburg and Green Cove Springs in Clay; Ponte Vedra, Nocatee, Fruit Cove and St. Johns in St. Johns County; and Fernandina Beach, Amelia Island, Yulee and Callahan in Nassau. Each county and some towns have their own rules on who may haul and where a container can sit; each town page quotes them, and we tell you straight on the phone.
Early. Same-day depends on availability, and the days right after a big storm are the busiest. For a planned remodel or cleanout, a few days' notice gets you the size you want on the day you want it — and if the box has to go in a City street, the permit has to be in hand first.
