Nature of our service

Bold City Dumpsters arranges temporary roll-off dumpster rentals for residential, commercial and construction projects in Jacksonville, Florida and the surrounding Northeast Florida communities: delivery, placement, pickup and disposal of approved non-hazardous debris. Depending on the project, the schedule and the location, we may provide the rental directly or connect you with an independent local dumpster rental provider ("Service Provider"). When you request a quote or call us, your information may be shared with a Service Provider able to handle your project. We do not operate disposal facilities. Each Service Provider operates independently and is responsible for its own pricing, scheduling, delivery and pickup, waste disposal compliance, billing and performance. All rentals are subject to availability and to local, county and state rules, including the City of Jacksonville's and Florida's solid waste requirements.

Acceptance of terms

By using the website, submitting a form, requesting a quote or renting a dumpster, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, that you understand how our service works, and that you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services. You agree to use the website lawfully and not to post harmful, illegal or misleading content, try to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data, or interfere with the site's security or functionality.

No guarantee of service

We work to provide reliable dumpster rental, but we do not guarantee service availability in every location, or any particular price, schedule or provider. Same-day and next-day delivery depend on availability. Where a Service Provider handles your rental, the agreement for that service is between you and that provider, and we are not responsible for missed appointments, scheduling conflicts, delivery or pickup delays, property damage, service quality issues, provider cancellations or disputes arising from services the provider handles; those should be taken up with the provider.

Information collection and sharing

When you book, you agree to give accurate and complete information, including the delivery address, placement instructions and contact details. We use it to respond to your request and share it only with those who need it to do that, such as a Service Provider or a payment processor. The Privacy Policy explains more.

Payments and pricing

All prices are quoted in U.S. dollars and typically include delivery, pickup and disposal within the stated weight allowance and the standard rental period. Additional charges may apply for excess weight, extended rental time, extra pickups or swaps, or material that has to be removed from the container, as quoted. We accept most major credit and debit cards, and payment is generally collected when your booking is confirmed, to reserve the delivery. Where a Service Provider fulfils the rental, pricing, billing, payment collection, refunds, deposits and any overage charges may be handled directly between you and that provider, and you should review its pricing and rental terms before scheduling.

Use of the container

Most standard rentals include 7 days unless otherwise agreed; extensions may be available on request for an additional daily or weekly fee, and you are responsible for arranging pickup before the rental period ends. Load the container no higher than its top rim — an overfilled container cannot legally or safely be transported — spread the load evenly, and keep the path to it clear. Do not place paint, solvents or other liquids, hazardous chemicals, fuel or oil, batteries, tires, propane tanks or gas cylinders, flammable liquids, medical waste, asbestos-containing material or refrigerant-containing appliances in the container. Florida law keeps lead-acid batteries, used oil and white goods out of landfills (F.S. 403.708(12)), whole tires out of landfills and construction and demolition debris facilities (F.S. 403.717(3)(c)), and rechargeable batteries out of mixed solid waste (F.S. 403.7192(3)), and regulated asbestos may not go into a construction and demolition debris disposal unit (FDEP Rule 62-701.730(19)). Improper use may result in additional disposal fees or legal penalties.

Permits and placement

Placement on private property such as a driveway usually needs no permit. A dumpster may not be placed in a public street, sidewalk or right-of-way without the permits required there — in the City of Jacksonville, a Right-of-Way permit from Public Works under Ordinance Code Sec. 744.110 — and getting them is the customer's responsibility; on a state road, FDOT's rules provide no permit for a roll-off. Some cities and towns have their own placement rules, and HOA covenants on containers are the customer's to check. We can offer general guidance on the local requirements when you book. Containers are placed with reasonable care, but the customer accepts responsibility for surface damage to driveways, lawns, sidewalks or curbs unless protective boards were requested before delivery.

Service provider responsibility

When a Service Provider is involved, it operates as an independent business and is responsible for maintaining proper licenses and insurance; obtaining permits when required; complying with local, state and federal laws; safely operating its vehicles and equipment; handling and disposing of waste properly; protecting property during delivery and pickup; and its own customer communication and scheduling. Bold City Dumpsters does not employ, supervise or directly manage Service Providers and is not liable for their conduct, actions or performance.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bold City Dumpsters, its owners, affiliates, employees, partners and representatives are not liable for property damage, personal injury, financial loss, business interruption, delayed services, missed deliveries or pickups, third-party negligence, disputes between customers and Service Providers, errors or omissions on the website, or technical interruptions or website downtime; nor for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid to us for the specific rental involved. Customers are encouraged to review their own insurance coverage before renting equipment.

No warranties

The website, our services and the information on this site are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including about the quality of a Service Provider's work, the availability of dumpster rentals, the accuracy of pricing information, uninterrupted access to the website, or the suitability of any service for a particular project. All content on boldcitydumpsters.com, including text, graphics, images and logos, belongs to Bold City Dumpsters and may not be reproduced, distributed or used commercially without our written consent.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Bold City Dumpsters, its owners, affiliates, employees, contractors and representatives from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, expenses or legal fees arising from your use of the website or our services, your interactions with Service Providers, a violation of these terms, misuse of dumpster rental services, or a violation of applicable laws or regulations.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Florida, and any dispute related to them, the website or our services is resolved exclusively in the courts located in Duval County, Florida. We may update these terms at any time; the updated version takes effect when it is posted here with its date, and continued use of the website or our services means you accept the changes.
